How to get there:
A good starting location is the small town 100 mile house. Drive the Canim-Hendrixs Lake road to Hendrixs lake, turn
left here and drive a narrow road (ok for any car) to the trailhead at N52.10104, West 120.88040, elevation about 1545 meter.
Route description:
Cross the red gate, then follow the road. Curve right whan possible. The road will ascend gradually, curving left. Fork
left heading into the old mine area.
Ignore all ugly welcoming signs.
The route is well marked with red flags.
As the trees get more sparse, you will see the red summit forward right.
As you enter
the more level, alpine terrain, be aware that the trail marked
with red flags does not go to the summit. Leave the trail
and do an easy ascent on grass to the summit.
Here is a quick summary of peaks climbed on this trip to British Columbia.
A track is posted on Peakbagger. Comments:
We stayed in 100 mile house and took an easy day to climb this RIBU mountain. We used about 1:35 on the ascent,
then 1:20 descending.
Thanks to pål for good company.
