How to get there:
The main challenge is to find the correct forest road. After a careful look at
satellite pictures, I decided to try a route that turned out to work. We first
ended up on the upper part of Rob's track and were quite happy having achieved this.
However, we then discovered an even better trailhead. A driving track to this
trailhead is enclosed. The area is subject to active logging, in fact, it is possible
that trees also on the summit area may be logged in the future.
Our new, very best trailhead is located at N51.26276, W119.67609, elevation near 1915 meter.
Thus the distance to the summit area is only 200 meter with a gain of about 10 meter.
Route description:
Bushwack, not bad, directly towards the summit area. Visit a few small contenders for
being highest.

Here is a quick summary of peaks climbed on this trip to British Columbia. Comments:
We left our hotel in Salmon Arm after breakfast, then drove via Kamloops to the small
town of Barrier. I knew what I wanted to try first and this turned out to be
a good choice. Pretty good road, a few bumpy spots and lots of loose sand.
We met 2 big trucks with logs coming downhill and creating substantial dust.
We were happy when we were able to connect with the track posted by Rob.
We drove to the end of the road
following the very upper part of his track.
Hiking from there, the bushwack was variable, a few dense spots. Then, we crossed
a road even higher up! Interesting.
We arrived at the summit area after about 30 minutes and walked around visiting various
local points, including the two marked by Rob.
Next, we returned back to the high road and first considered following it back to
our car. This, however soon looked like a longish hike. We returned back up, completed
the bushwack down to our Jeep.
Next, we drove to explore the upper trailhead that we had already located.
The road offers a very good view across to the ultra Dunn Peak.
Soon, we were back there. From there, we created a track all the way back
to paved road.
We concluded the day by driving to 100 mile house.
