How to get there:
From Salmon Arm, drive about 18 km to location N50.61255, W119.22703, turn onto
the forest road here. The road is initially pretty good, but gets more rugged as
you turn (right) onto the Ida road. A 4WD with clearance is strongly recommended.
Drive to a junction at location N50.63321, W119.28954, elevation near 1375 meter.
There is good parking off the road on your right hand side.
Route description:
A big, nice trail exits right just a few meter ahead. Follow this trail to the summit.
Note that there is a trail fork just after you cross a wooden bridge. One should keep
right here. The trail is very nice and shows sign of trail maintenance. You cross
a first hump, then arrive at the summit on the second hump.

Pål Jørgen and I were having an easy day in Salmon Arm after our nice ascent
of Mount Odin. We first visited Silver Star ski resort, then visited this peak on our way
back. We started around noon and walked
to the summit in about 40 minutes. After 5 minutes
there, we returned in about 30 minutes to our car.
